Sarracenia minor, hooded pitcher plant. This is another one that I initial was not impressed by, but have come to love. I look forward to seeing it more in the future. A newly opened pitcher. This lovely clump is a bit of a cheat. It was in the wild, but it was planted in the Pinelands of NJ around 40 years before this picture was taken. Back to natural populations.
