Hi There, Since getting my new and only nep at the 3rd meeting auction this past Saturday, I got excited about nepenthes again. So I said hi to a friend who lives in Sabah, Malaysia just cause I was thinking about him because of the neps. He said he has two and sent me the following pics. He said they are from Borneo, but no more info than that. Other than they are two different species. They aren't the best pics, but if anyone is especially interested in figuring these out, I am sure I can get better pics from him. Thanks in advance for any potential help.

Would anyone have suggestions of specific angles, perspectives or parts to tell my friend to photograph to try to make the ID easier.

I wish I could help Jason, but I've never kept Nepenthes. Then again, try looking up the Botanical description of a Nepenthes and you will see the characteristics described to define the species. This might give you an idea of what to focus on. I just tried using "Nepenthes Botanical Description" and did not find a journal article where a new species was described. Now I'm thinking that the description may be in Latin. I've seen some Cactus first published with the description in Latin.
