I'm John, and enjoyed presenting at the 3rd meeting about postage stamps depicting carnivorous plants.
In Philadelphia, I grow a tankful (or two, during the winter) of carnivores, mostly sundews and nepenthes, but also vfts and a couple of butterworts. In Princeton, NJ, I am building a bog garden for sarraceniae and temperate sundews. An attempt at Aldrovanda in a bucket lasted 3 years but no more.
I tried to grow a few carnivores as a kid in the 1970s but none survived. Later, just explored bogs in upstate NY enjoying them in their own homes. In the late 1980s, set up a tank and have had mixed success since.

Welcome. Sadly I had to miss this meeting. I'm thinking of an outdoor bog too. No plans yet, but its in the back of my mind.
