Hi all,
I'm Paul Readly, a former resident of PA, back from California after 11 years in the Monterey Bay region of California. Carnivorous plants and their intricacies, particularly the genus Pinguicula were a fascination of mine during my studies at Penn State and shortly into my California residency. Sadly I lost all my CP collection over my due to travel demands of my former position. Happily, my family and I are back in the familiarity of PA! In my former life I was an herbaceous ornamental breeder for an international seed company in Salinas, CA. Currently I am Greenhouse Manager and Head grower at Meadowbrook Farm. Given my more situated
I am really a lover of Pinguicula, Mexican and South American that can never have enough diversity between and within species. The flowers and foliage forms are so diverse, they helped push my interests into breeding many years ago and I am really looking forward to breeding them for real enjoyment! I like to focus on species improvement over hybrid development (redder more showy P. laueana or more saturated and contrasting round-petaled emarginatas for example)
I also grow some other Drosera and Utricularia.
As you can tell, I am a real plant geek and as such, I am really happy to join the group!
Cheers,
Paul

Welcome Paul. Do you mean Meadowbrook Farm in Abington Township, PA? Never been there, but was at Morris Arboretum many times when my In-laws were alive.
